Inter Milan are weighing up January moves for Arsenal's Costa Rican forward Joel Campbell and Tottenham's Argentine midfielder Erik Lamela

Inter Milan are trying to get their Christmas shopping all done in one early trip to London with
north London duo Erik Lamela and Joel Campbell topping their wishlist. The Italian club's transfer supremo, Piero Ausilio, is reportedly in the capital with millions to spend and wants Lamela, who has struggled to make an impact at Tottenham since signing from Roma in a deal worth up to £30m in August 2013. Spurs boss Maurico Pochettino is keen to hang on to his fellow Argentine, however, so it will take a massive cash offer to prise him away from White Hart Lane. Ausilio might have more joy at nearby Arsenal, where Campbell is not getting much of a look in under Arsene Wenger.
Great things were expected of the forward after his stunning World Cup displays for Costa Rica last
summer, but the 22-year-old has found opportunities hard to come by. Campbell is now behind Danny Welbeck, Olivier Giroud, Lukas Podolski, Yaya Sanogo and Alexis Sanchez in the pecking order at the Emirates so Wenger could well be persuaded to part company if Inter can come up with an offer he can not refuse.
