The gold plated iPhone5 photo circulating online is fake!

Photo of the fake gold plated iPhone5 photo circulating online

The pic of the iPhone on the left has been circulated online with a few blogs alleging that the Federal Government has taken delivery of the 53 gold plated iPhones to celebrate Nigeria's 53rd anniversary tomorrow. I'm not particularly a fan of this government but photoshopping a pic to make a false story look true is probably not the way forward. The federal govt has denied ordering these phones, the UK company, Gold and Co of London, also denied and denounced the story.

Find the original photo and the Photoshopped version above. Reacting to the fake phone photo, Reno Omokri, Special Assistant (New Media) to the President said;

Let me make it clear that President Goodluck Jonathan is a simple man who has ensured that all independence anniversary celebrations under his watch have been low key inexpensive events in keeping with his policy of avoiding wasteful expenditures.

These stories and others like it are sponsored by those who would like to distract President Jonathan from the task of Transformation of which he has committed himself and this administration. It is a disservice to all of us if we sit back while these disgruntled elements get away with lies without exposing them and their cohorts.

Things Not To Be Shared With Best Friend

Things Not To Be Shared With Best Friend There are a few things that should be strictly personalYou and your bum chum may believe that friendship is all about loving, caring and sharing. While that may be true, but there are a few things that should be absolutely personal and private. Here are a few things that should be in that list. Your toiletries: We are not saying that you should act miserly and not share your toothpaste, but sharing your brush is a definite no-no. Also things like your comb should be yours alone. It doesn’t really matter how close you are with your friend, or if it is an unexpected overnight stay, somethings just can’t be shared. Your undergarménts: If sharing your toiletries is not done, then sharing your undergarment is a sin. It’s just too unhygienic, no matter how many times you decide to wash it. Girl, sharing your clothes is fine, but what’s undernéath it, stays right there. The best thing to do would have a spare pair of fresh undergarments at your home. Cosmetics: Each skin type is different from the other, while you may not have sensitive skin but the same may not hold true for your friend. Make sure you don’t get into some major trouble with your skin by using your friend’s products. Credit card/debit card pin number: No matter how close your friend is, you just cannot share banking details with him/her. Similarly, don’t be offended if he/she refuses to tell you about his/her savings or salary. There are somethings that are best kept private. Your ex and her ex: No matter how many times anyone says they are ‘okay’ with their best friend dating their ex, it just doesn’t hold true. That applies both ways. Don’t be surprised if your best friend stops responding to your calls because you’ve gotten to paly with her ex.

Photos: Angry Arik Air passengers block Abuja airport runway

Angry passengers yesterday evening Thursday September 26th blocked the runway of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, preventing planes from taking-off or landing. The passengers, who disembarked from an Arik Air flight, blocked the Abuja runway because the flight they took from Abuja to Calabar was not allowed to land in Calabar around 5.30pm for safety reasons - the runway lightening was poor, forcing the pilot to return the passengers to Abuja. The passengers now felt the best way to express their anger was to prevent other planes from taking off or landing at the Abuja airport. Continue... We are amazed that despite the security at the Abuja airport, passengers were still able to hijack the aircraft and hold other planes to ransom, that should not be the case.”

Last But Not The Least: Banky W Reacts To Forbes 10 Richest Artistes List

Honestly, this has to be the most mature and sense making reaction I have seen all month to the Forbes richest artistes list. Singer, Chairman and Creative Director of EME Banky W spoke in a recent interview with the Nigerian Tribune on several issues from his career to personal life. Most notably, he spoke about the recently released 10 richest artistes by Forbes Read what he said: - “I don’t believe very much in such things. Let’s be honest, the real wealthy people are the businessmen like Dangote and the politicians (some of whomgot there by looting Nigeria). They’re the ones with real money. This entertainment business is too much hype. It is more fame than fortune. So I’m not thrilled to it and I don’t think any of us should buy into it too much. I’d rather be wealthy and quiet than famous and broke”. WORD!!!!!Banky W Reacts To-Forbes10 Richest Artistes List
