BREAKING NEWS: President Jonathan Sacks Another Aide

President Goodluck Jonathan sacked his Special Assistant on Social Development, Mrs. Aisha Umar, from her post as on November 24, 2013, Sunday.


This has been confirmed by brief statement issued on Sunday in Abuja by Mr. Sam Nwaobasi, the Special Assistant (Media) to the Secretary of the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim with Ref. No: PPR/OSGF/PR/02.
The statement did not disclose the details on why the aide was relieved of her job. The statement further read that, the termination takes “effect from November 25, 2013.”
I would be recalled that the President has sacked three of his aides in the past several months. The first was the Minister of Youth Development, Inuwa Abdulkadir, followed by the Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Mrs. Joy Emordi, and the Special Adviser on the New Partnership for Africa’s Development, Dr. Tunji Olagunju.
